This elegant pan-fired Kamairicha style early harvest green tea (shincha) comes from Junji & Yusuke Kadota's small farm of 2,6 hectars which is still in the process of applying an organic certificate. The term 'aracha' refers to a tea that has not gone through the final heating and sorting phases. This is the earliest possible harvest of the year -our tea was harvested 1st of May - and is often called as 'farmer's tea', being the first fresh tea the farmers drink, also giving an indication of how the year's harvest will develop.
