2021 Qian Jia Zhai "Thousand House Village" sheng puerh
Light and invigorating, friendly!
This raw puerh maocha comes from one of our all time favourite places in Yunnan - Qian Jia Zhai, or "Thousand House Village" as it is in word to word translation. The tea comes from an organic plantation following an agriculture method called 'sheng tai' (literally 'forest grown'). The seed-grown tea trees are left uncut allowed to grow wild while different fruit trees and other plants have been planted inbetween rows of tea trees to offer shade and to create a healthy ecology with plants the tea tree likes. Da Shu large tea tree varietal. Light, soft and friendly. Fruity, hints of apricot and sweet almond.
Rinse, I - 1min, 2min, 3min
NB! We recommend to try this tea out also by putting a few leaves in a tea bowl / cup, covering them with hot water and drinking directly from the bowl!
