'Heart Opening' aged Liu Bao

Liu Bao (transl. "Six Castles") is a traditional fermented Chinese black tea (hei cha) from Guangxi province, China -a precursor to the popular shou pu-erh - that has been aged since the late 1980's. The tea can both be cooling as well as warming, it is slightly piney and with a metallic aftertaste. We call it 'Heart Opening' Liu Bao as we have found Liu Bao to bring people magically to a heart level, promote introspection and further open communication between people. We recommend to drink this tea in a meditative setting.
