Traditional wooden calebasse made from algarrobo wood, commonly known as carob. Considered to be more sturdy than bottle gourd calebasses. Can be 'cured' with oil / butter before use (make sure to leave spent mate leaves in the gourd afterwards overnight, give a quick rinse the next day and you are good to go!) to prolong its life and avoid any possible cracks developing in the long run. Handcarved in Argentina. Holds 165ml.
