Aged Liu An heicha
Dry, light to medium body, astringent, energetic
Liu An, a type of traditional Chinese fermented black tea from Anhui province. Produced in 1999 from Zhuye tea tree varietal and compressed into bamboo baskets, 250g grams each. Smaller leaf material is used to make this tea compared to Liu Bao and pu-erh and the tea is lighter in colour and body, more astringent and energetic compared to the two.
