Oolong, "The Black Dragon" is a style of tea that developed in the 18th century in Fujian province, China. It is the most versatile group of teas as it includes lightly oxidized teas that are sometimes even similar to green tea, as well as the dark, heavily oxidized and roasty, and many inbetween the two. It is the category where the tea master shows his hand as it takes most time, energy and skill to produce oolong tea. Aromatic, rich and complex in flavour, absolutely elegant and utterly captivating!
