Sencha Asanoka Japanese green tea, organic

 Lush and rich in umami! 

Asanoka is a relatively new - officially recognized since 1996 -and unique tea cultivar that is a hybrid of the popular Yabukita and a Chinese tea bush varietal. The tea was machine harvested in middle of April in Kirishima, followed by light steaming and light to medium final heating (hi re). Complex in terms of aroma, rich with strong umami and with an exotic, mango and grapefruit flavour. EU certified organic.
