Wild Hunan, wild-growth green tea

Wild-growth green tea with a classic flavour!This is a long-awaited high quality green tea for us this year, handpicked from a wild tea garden in Yueyang, Hunan where the plants are grown from seeds and are genetically diverse. This results in a tea with a more lively, vibrant feeling and longer lasting aftertaste. The harvested buds and young leaves are covered with white downy hair which is common for more premium Mao Feng grade teas as this one - this influences the texture of the tea, making it smooth and silky, slightly "furry" on the tongue. The flavour is light, sweet and nutty, bringing fresh almonds to mind and the tea has minimal astringency.

Brewing tips: 3 grams of tea per 200ml of 80C water, 1st steeping 1min, 2nd steeping 1-2min, 3rd steeping 2-3min.
