2002 Master Wang Wood Aroma Liu Bao
Woody and warming, rich in taste!
Produced by family Wang in Guangxi, China. This family has gone the alternate route of not selling his leaves to the bigger tea factories in the region, but produces their own tea with the help of neighbouring farmers in a co-op format.
This tea was harvested in 2002 and has been aged in Guangxi ever since and has thus developed much in complexity over time. "Wood Aroma" (Mu Xiang) refers to its very earthy autumn nature in taste - mixture of woods, mosses and wet leaves. Soft, clear taste. As smaller leaves are used, the brew is quite thick and dark.
