Huangshan Long Jing green tea, organic

Long Jing (literally "Dragon Well") is by far the most famous Chinese green tea. Being famous, there are many grades and quality levels, but all share an instantly recognisable, similar look: flat and elongated bright green leaves. The flavour too is unique in its nutty, slightly bean-like flavour. Some grades offer more or less of these distinctive notes. Our certified organic Long Jing comes from Huangshan mountain range area which is located around 200 kilometers westwards from the birthplace of Long Jing tea in Xihu, Hangzhou. Here in Huangshan, tea is cultivated in heights of 300 to 800 meters above sea level.

Brewing tips: 3 grams of tea per 200ml of 85C water, 1st steeping 1min, 2nd steeping 1-2min, 3rd steeping 2-3min etc.
