Moonlight Black red (black) tea, organic

One of our clients’ favourites for years already. A wonderful bowl tea.

This red/black tea hails from Yunnan but is atypical of the ‘dian hong’ style of red tea famous there. This one has long, striped leaves and is harvested from the Assamica varietal, giving it some added sharpness and robustness. At the same time, it is nicely balanced and aromatic with a complex flavour. You can make a standard infusion or else drink this in the oldest and simplest method - simply place a few leaves in a bowl and pour hot water over it, sip and pour more water when it’s empty. Harvested between March to June 1400-1600 meters above sea level. EU organic.
