2009 Mengla "Old Tree" sheng puerh
Sweet and deep, with a hint of honey
Harvested Spring 2009 from Mengla area south of Yiwu in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan from 200-300 year old wild-growth tea trees. Production was overseen by master Jinsong Yu. Compressed and stored in Taiwan until 2017. The tea has a rather sweet and soft taste, reminiscent of honey and maltose.
