2006 Changtai TF Tea Expo shou puerh

This bing was produced as a commemorative tea by Changtai tea factory - known for several modern classic tea vintages around the time of the millennium - for the Second South-East Asia Puerh Trade Fair back in 2006, blended by two quite influential tea teachers in Taiwan, Chen Zhi Tong and Huang Chang Fang. For this special event, they wanted to create the best possible ripe puerh and used very high quality leaf material from various regions for this blend, and indeed, it is quite something. The flavour is woody, sweet, reminds one little bit of corn, with hints of forest mushrooms. It's complex, comforting and very relaxing tea. Stored in Taiwan up until very recently.

Brewing tips: 5g / 200ml / 100C / rinse, I - 1min, II - 2min etc.
