Tokoname Kyusu "Black"

This Japanese kyusu teapot, designed for Japanese whole leaf green teas, is slightly larger than the kyusu "Bark" in our assortment.

Tokoname is a famous pottery region and is the oldest of Japanese "Six Ancient Kilns" dating back more than 900 years. Particulary high-quality teapots are made here and the demand for Tokoname clay pots have increased steadily as the clay brings out the flavour beautifully.
