Modern Zhuni Yixing pot

This Yixing teapot was half-handmade in a small series production using a mold to shape the body and lid by master Wang Zhongyin. The 110ml sized teapot is what is called a "nature pot", a genre of pots inspired by natural motifs, in this case a "Shizi", a persimmon. Inside the pot you can find a fine ball style clay filter.

It is a type of Hongi Yixing "Red" clay. Compared to other clays it fired at a slightly higher temperature and is more dense, therefore it is traditionally paired with more aromatic teas, such as oolongs. It comes with elegant high quality box.
