2024 Master Li "Green Snail" Bi Luo Chun

Burst of summer!

A lush and bursting green tea from small farmer Li in Pu'er county (formerly known as Simao) in Yunnan, China. This year Li also received his local organic license. The leaves of this tea were harvested on the month of March and were rolled into fine snail shaped balls (thus the name, which means "Green Snails Spring"), they are covered with fine white downy hair, which give a distinct "furry" mouthfeel. Compared to other Bi Luo Chun teas, this Yunnanese one is more full-bodied, more astringent and fruitier. Reminds one of jasmine, sage and the unkept garden of a romatic summer cottage. Enjoy!
