2020 Bada shou puerh

Ripe puerh from arbor style tea garden in Bada - one of the 12 historic tea mountains in Xishuangbanna, the southernmost tip of Yunnan - where the plants are allowed to grow wild. Around 60 year old trees were picked in Spring 2018, processed and carefully fermented in smaller 250-350kg batch, then stored for two years before being compressed in 2020. Sweet, thick, berry-like. Very clean, stable taste and fragrance.

Brewing tips: 5g / 200ml / 100C / rinse, 1st steeping 1 min, 2nd steeping 1 min, 3rd steeping 2 min etc
