Ripe puerh brick made from the larger and more coarser (huangpian) leaves from old-growth tea trees from two villages in Jinggu in Pu'er county (formerly known as Simao). It's a blend of leaves from three different years, harvested in Spring and Autumn, processed and then fermented fully by a piling master in Menghai. It's smooth and creamy, woody and with some dry fruit notes, easy to enjoy in any time of the day. We find these sort of coarser bricks have a real romantic old style pu'er aire to them - nice to drink when reading good poems.
Brewing suggestions: 5 grams of tea per 200ml of 100C water. Rinse the tea, 1st steeping 1min, 2nd steeping 1min, 3rd steeping 2min etc. Alternatively use more tea and shorter steeping times.
