In line with how the elderberry (sambucus nigra) was known for centuries in Europe, as a medicine to ward off the evil eye, today this berry is known as a super-berry which has the power to prevent and treat colds and flus. Indeed, it is one of the few things which actually aids even during a sickness! These berries are delicious anytime steeped as a tea, but if in the need for an immune boost, you can either steep them for a long time (8mins or more) or even boil them. They can be-steeped or re-boiled several times. Add some honey if you like! Certified EU organic.
