Old Growth Da Hong Pao oolong

A dark, roasted delicacy - true Ban Yan Wuyi Cliff tea. One of our favourites.

From the Xingcun village bordering the Wuyi National Park where some of the planet’s most sought-after tea is grown comes this stunning dark roasted oolong, handmade by the Zou family of tea makers. Their bushes are relatively old-growth, and as often the case with tea made from older, healthier bushes, the effect on the body is deeper, more resonant. As the Zous also grow some fruit-bearing trees on their property, one can detect a lovely fruity aftertaste in this fine tea.
