One of the boldest red teas in our selection from Yunnan province, South-East China. Yunnan may be best known for its puerh teas, but is also the home of many amazing red teas. This tea is full-bodied, sweet yet has a slight bitter "bite". The leaves were harvested between month of March to June, grown in Wenshan mountains 1200 meters above sea level. Ideal for those who like to feel they just had a strong manly cup of red tea! Great also with milk!
Brewing suggestions: 3 grams of tea per 200ml of 95-100C water. 1st steeping 1min, 2nd steeping 1-2min, 3rd steeping 2-3min. Alternatively use more tea and shorter steeping times.
