The definition of a perfect everyday Chinese red tea. The Chinese province of Yunnan (a bit larger than Germany) is a famous area in the world of tea. It is a relatively poor and underdeveloped province, but the soil and mountainous territory is perfect for tea - indeed, it is considered the birthplace for the tea plant on the planet. This red tea boasts a classic Yunnanese taste - golden, silky, slightly fruity and yet full-bodied and satisfying, early morning or mid-afternoon. The harvest for this tea takes place between March to September from tea trees growing 900-1200 meters above sea level. EU organic.
